Bill founded Landlord Services in 1977 primarily to assist landlords and property managers in solving landlord-tenant problems quickly, inexpensively and amicably.
Bill started his property management career by joining his father’s real estate syndication company in 1972. A year later, and for four years, Bill served as a Property Manager at a major local real estate management firm, Prime Properties, Inc., located on the peninsula south of San Francisco. In his property management roles he developed and improved many policy and procedures, including creating hundreds of forms, checklists and how to articles for managing all types of residential properties. Bill’s effective management programs, and cash flow and investment savvy, enabled him to increase profits, and real estate investment value.
After becoming a licensed real estate broker and a Certified Property Manager in 1977, Bill set off on his own and started Landlord Services, Inc. This company is devoted to providing a wide-ranging curriculum in the Hard Knocks College of Practical landlording, including property management consulting, tenant screening, and eviction services. He expanded his company to include offices in San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento and San Jose, California to be one of the largest of its kind.
In 1995 Bill started Landlord.com and after pre-development launched the new Landlord.com in 1998. Landlord.com is the most popular landlord web site on the Internet, and has resources for all kinds of landlords based in any of the 50 states, including Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, etc. Over 100,000 people visit monthly and participate in over 20 different landlord services.
Bill graduated from West Valley College with an A.A. in business/real estate, attended San Diego State, and was on the honor roll at Grossmont College. Bill has resided in Los Gatos, California for over 29 years.
Daniel C. Moore
Office Manager/Client Relations
Dan manages the day-to-day activities and is responsible for primary contact with our clients. He is responsible for the quick and smooth process of each case as it proceeds through the court system, process server’s offices and Sheriff’s Department. He is a licensed real estate salesman. He shares Ned and his brother Bill’s enthusiasm for bringing smiles to the faces of our landlord clients
Dan spends his spare time pursuing his hobbies in blown glass artwork, inventing consumer oriented products and traveling. And after taking care of his elderly mother for the past 10 years, Dan now resides in Campbell, California
Jacqueline Garrens, MBA
Advertising, Business Development & Webmaster
Jacqueline is responsible for Landlord.com's advertising and business development and is responsible for building and maintaining several of our popular websites; Landlord.com, CaliforniaLandlord.com, LandlordServices.com and QuickEvictionServices.com. She has over 15 years residential real estate experience and has been a part of the Landlord Services team since 1998.
Anthony R. Schrock
Consultant-Real Estate Broker-CPM
Tony meets the public and promotes the benefits of Landlord Services, CaliforniaLandlord.com and Landlord.com. He has over 25 years experience owning his own property management company and managing residential and commercial properties. He is a licensed real estate broker and holds the designation of Certified Property Manager. From 1986-2003, he has been on the Board of Directors of the Tri-County Apartment Association and the California Apartment Association. He also served on several committees of both organizations. Tony is also on the faculty for the Department of Real Estate, California Community College Systems, and the Certified Apartment Managers Course. He also guest lectures at local colleges on the field of property management.
Tony earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University. Tony resides in Campbell, California with his girlfriend Michelle and enjoys traveling to Mexico, Europe and the Caribbean.
